Thousands of migrants remain stranded in Spain's Ceuta after mass border crossing

Nearly 60,000 migrants crossed from Morocco into Ceuta within days, prompting Spain to reinforce its border and Rabat to blame a Spanish court ruling for the surge. While most Moroccan arrivals have been returned, thousands of others—from Sudan, Algeria, Egypt, Mali, Senegal and Somalia—remain stranded with nowhere to go.
