Days after a powerful earthquake devastates East Nusa Tenggara, thousands remain displaced and say help is slow to reach the worst-affected areas. In Riung village, residents lack food, medicine and clean water and hang a sign that reads, “we really, really need aid.” Some communities like Reo receive parcels of rice and oil, while others, such as Nanu, watch trucks pass without stopping as families sleep under torn plastic sheets.
