Ukraine races to repair power grid ahead of winter as Russian strikes continue

Ukrainian engineers are working urgently to repair power infrastructure damaged by Russian strikes ahead of the winter season. While former US President Donald Trump claimed a deal had been reached to stop attacks on energy facilities, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said only a US proposal for de-escalation is currently on the table. Ukraine’s largest private power company, to prepare for renewed mass attacks.
