Student protests grow across France over education system

Students across France have blocked the main entrances to their high schools, demanding the government overhaul an education system they say is failing them. Their demands include more teachers amid a long-running shortage, better infrastructure, and shorter timetables. Most protests have been peaceful, but some have turned violent, and there is growing criticism of the police response after a sting ball blew off the hand of a 15-year-old. The Prime Minister says ministers have been tasked with examining the students' demands, but those protesting say they want action, not words. Al Jazeera's Natacha Butler reports.
