Teaching a young pangolin how to feed itself #Rolex #PerpetualPlanet #AfricaEarthsWildHome

Presented by @ROLEX . Rehabilitating baby pangolins doesn't just mean keeping them safe and fed, it also involves teaching them how to keep themselves fed in the wild. That's why pangolin handlers at the Tikki Hywood Foundation take young pangolins for walks in the woods every day, showing them where to find the thousands of ants and termites they need to forage daily. Through its partnership with the National Geographic Society and as part of its Perpetual Planet Initiative, #Rolex supports expeditions exploring and protecting remarkable places around the world, a selection of which are featured in #AfricaEarthsWildHome. #PerpetualPlanet Learn more about the intensive work that goes into pangolin rehabilitation in the October edition of National Geographic: on.natgeo.com
