Between 300 and 400 Venezuelan migrants cross into northern Brazil every day. They are fleeing economic collapse and seeking access to lifesaving medical care. Many arrive in the border town of Pacaraima, overwhelming local services. Brazil’s health system there is under severe strain as patient numbers rise.
