Iranian missiles and Hezbollah rockets hit multiple areas in central and northern Israel

Smoke has risen above Tel Aviv after an Iranian missile landed in the north of the city, with a projectile falling in the Ramat HaSharon district. A cluster munition attack from Iran struck 16 different locations in central Israel within the last hour, with a building completely destroyed in Petah Tikva — a city whose mayor says has been hit by around 150 rockets or missiles, with two people killed during the war. Hezbollah has also intensified its attacks, launching at least 10 rockets towards Nahariya, injuring two people, with more than 20 sirens blasting across northern Israel since morning. Communities in northern Israel have expressed distrust in the government's strategy, feeling abandoned as the army pushes deeper into southern Lebanon while Hezbollah makes the operation costly. Residents are demanding that Hezbollah's disarmament become a top priority, though the army acknowledges this is not an easy task and says it is the responsibility of the Lebanese government and army. Military analysts say Iran retains the capability to disrupt life in Israel at will, with three salvos reported since midnight.
